During his excellency tour of the Suez Canal Economic Zone projects:

The Prime Minister is witnessing the opening of the “Kadmar International International Transport and Logistics (DEPOT)” project.

Company official: The project started at an early time from its date as a result of the positive role that the economic zone plays thanks to the support of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi

During his excellency tour today with the projects of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister and his companions, witnessed the opening of the “Kadmar International International Transport and Logistics (DEPOT)” project.

The Prime Minister listened to an explanation from Eng. Medhat EL-Kady, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kadamar Group Companies, who explained that the project is a logistical platform for container, goods and cars, and added value for goods for export, as well as a platform for food industries for the purpose of export.

“EL -Kady” stressed that the project was launched at an early time from its scheduled date, as a result of the positive role played by the economic zone of the Suez Canal, thanks to the support of President Abdel Fattah Al -Sisi, President of the Republic, expressing his aspiration in the repetition of the economic zone model in other regions in Egypt, with what it provides From a favorable environment to attract investments and encourage them to expand.

He added that the project occupies an area of up to 21,488 square meters for the first and second stages, and the project will be accommodated as a first stage of 5 thousand equivalent containers, and 2,500 pallets of goods, and the project provides about 105 direct workers, and 100 indirect labor In the first and second stages, the total area of the project is scheduled to reach about 109 thousand square meters, and the size of the employment with it is about 500 directly and indirectly.

The Vice -Chairman of the Kadmar Group Companies pointed out that the project represents a specialized platform that works as a mediator between marine and air ports, local markets, distribution areas, and industrial areas, pointing out that each port needs a logistical back of such a platform, adding that the project achieves many returns Economic, and parallels huge projects in other regions of the world, where waiting time in ports reduces, as well as logistical cost in general, as it uses solar energy, and contributes to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 40%, as a very important environmental dimension, and also allows goods to follow up. Their goods through advanced systems.
